DRS Athletics Elite Sports Performance Training Progam is designed to deliver a challenging workout that is organized, educational, progressive, and customized per team. Training sessions focus primarily on speed enhancement, explosive movements, multi-directional skills, and power that transfers directly to each sport.

The program content is energy system based and is selected for off-season, pre-season, and in-season training. We offer two programs Competitive Speed & Performance (Ages 12-14) and Elite Speed & Performance (Ages 15+) scroll below for details.  

Our coaching and training programs can also dramatically improve their mental game. From finding their limits and safely increasing their capacity for endurance to simply being able to go further in tough situations, we train youth athetes for all of it at DRS Athletics. Our 6,000 sq. ft. facility is conveinently located in Huntington Beach.

Two Programs to Choose From

Our Elite Coaches are former professional athletes and bring their experience & success to our progam by providing personalized traning to maximize the potenial of your youth athletes. 

Choose from two programs:

Competitive Speed & Performance

Ages: 12-14 | Cost $150 per Month/ $12.50 per Training Session*

This program is focused on progressing and maintaining athletic movement abilities while refining and ingraining the fundamental skills of speed, agility, and power. In this age range athletic fundamentals begin to be developed and directed towards athletic skill application. Middle School athletes need continual development of proper neuromuscular patterns. We focus on injury prevention & building strength. 

This repeated rehearsal leads to permanent and positive athletic change as well as solidifying the foundation already established during the youth program. There is an introduction of strength and conditioning exercises during this program.

Elite Speed & Performance

Ages 15+ & College | Cost $150 per Month / $12.50 per Training Sesson*

The Elite training continues technique refinement and the incorporation of more sport-specific elements. Most athletes in this age group have developed proper neuromuscular patterns and the fundamental skills of speed, agility, and power. 

This training is designed to build on those foundations and to provide additional pieces needed to enhance sports and athletic performance. The strength and conditioning part will be highly emphasized during this training, including barbell work, resistance and plyometric work. We focus on injury prevention and increased performance in a positive & encouraging, supportive environment.

Rosario Rios Aguilar

Rosario moved from Chiapas, Mexico to California at the age of 13. At the age of 20, Rosario was named the 2006 Rio Hondo Athlete of the Year award. 

At age 22, Rosario led Whittier College to a Conference Championship and was named 2nd Team All-Conference. In Track and Field, Rosario holds three school records and earned 1st Team All-Conference. She also captured the SCIAC title in the 400m hurdles. Rosario was also ranked #1 in the State of California, and 9th in the country as a heptathlete during the NCAA Track and Field Championships. 

Rosario continued playing basketball overseas in Germany and Belgium, before returning home to continue her education. She obtained a Masters of Science in Exercise Science and Sports Nutrition at Cal State University of Long Beach. 

Rosario has since worked as a strength and conditioning specialist at Schurr High School, Cal State University of Long Beach, and UCLA. She also worked as an Assistant Track and Field Coach at Whittier College for 5 years specializing in multi-events and hurdles. Rosario's passion is to develop athletes to their maximum potential. 

Jenna Stark played both Softball and Volleyball in High School at the club level. Competing on a 18u Gold Volleyball team as well as a Gold Travel ball softball team. She was offered scholarships from 9 Division 1 programs including Notre dame, North Carolina State, and Georgetown University. 

She happily and successfully continued her career at Texas A&M University. Not only did she earn a scholarship to play at Texas A&M, but she was also the team captain her Junior and Senior year. The SEC Conference represents the best athletes in the country in every single sport and she was pushed to her max potential. Her team Finished 8th in the Country her Junior Year with a very talented team and made a run for the National Championship. 

She now is dedicated to doing everything she can to share all of the tools she learned from her personal experience in order to get her athletes to the highest level of this sport. 

Seeing her Athletes be offered scholarships and commit to the school of their dreams is one of her greatest joys! 

Program Details 

The DRS Elite Youth Sports Performance Training Program includes 3 (45 minute) group training sessions per person, per week (see schedule above). The DRS Elite Youth Sports Performance Training Program is $150 per month ($12.50 per session) - no contract required, the term is month-to-month with a 30 day notice to cancel. Training session times are subject to change.

By joining DRS Athletics and paying for its membership(s) and or services I understand that I am entering into a legally enforceable agreement with DRS Athletics. The initial payment of $150.00 will cover the first month of the DRS Elite Youth Performance Training and then you will have the opportunity to join a monthly membership at the standard rate of $150.00 per month. You will be enrolled in the program you have selected and is subject to DRS Athletics terms and conditions.  

I agree to pay membership fees through Merchant Services, cash or personal check. I understand that the terms and conditions of this Agreement will govern all aspects of my participation in each class I take. I also agree to comply with the policies and procedures that you and your instructors may from time-to-time communicate to me. Prorate to the first billing date does not count towards one month of membership. DRS Athletics will provide invoices via email when requested. There are no refunds. Cancellation to Membership needs to be done in writing via email only. All services offered by DRS Athletics are under these terms and conditions unless there is a written agreement between management and the client.
